Decided to log into the debt collector's website so I know how to use it in the future. Assuming negotiations go through, I'm planning to pay online using prepaid debit card and document heavily. (Screenshots, bank statements, receipts...) I see that the online account only has one name listed though, the name of the primary tenant. In contrast, our joint apt account online had both our names on it and we each had our own logins that went to our shared apt account. The letter I got from the de... My father borrowed money from a company ill call credit. I dont know the reason or maybe i forgot it since its my dads problem, but since quarantine, my dad has been delaying the monthly pay because of quarantine, of course. And one time they called me to inform him to pay( thats all they do) and they asked how im related to him and i told credit im my fathers daughter and after that theyve been calling non- stop atleast 5 times in the morning and evening for 6 months. And when school started it... is it worth trying to report them to the BBB at this point if they aren't even accredited anymore? they don't have anything to lose, so do they have any reason to bother listening to a threat of a BBB investigation? it's LVNV ( resurgent holdings, llc is their parent company) funding if anyone is curious. plenty of stuff on google about their shady practicies/situations similar to mine....the details of the debt isn't important..trust me..it's messed up. i dont know where this debt came from, ...
